Logan Thompson and Sam Montembeault were forced to leave Game 3, and the netminders' injuries headline our NHL playoffs first-round injury update for Sunday, April 27.

Spencer Carbery and Martin St. Louis haven't offered an update regarding their No. 1 goaltenders, with both listed as questionable for Sunday's pivotal Game 5. However, Thompson was on the ice for the Capitals' morning skate.

Otherwise, the New Jersey Devils saw another of their defensemen, Johnathan Kovacevic, forced to exit a playoff game prematurely. He's also listed as questionable for the injury-ravaged Devils.

Miro Heiskanen hasn't played since Jan. 28 in Vegas. Signs point to him featuring later in the series. He's traveling with the team to Colorado. DallasNews reports he may play in Saturday's Game 4.
